All I Want For Christmas : Mini Mouse...

HK Mouse kicked off earlier this week with her Chrimbo wish list so I thought it was about time I put mine together and got it circulating! After all it is only 14 more sleeps until the day itself...oh good God, I must go shopping immediately!

Here goes...

I never leave the house without a fistful of rings or a necklace or two layered up, so it's no surprise that I've spied a gorgeous newbie which I need to be part of my morning outfit build! What's even better is you can not only get the pendant inscribed with your initials but customise it with different chains and charms!!

Monica Vinader, my perfect combination below £290...

Early morning commutes are bad enough, but they're even worse when the bitter cold engulfs your little hands and tootsies! As you'll soon see, the new theme in my life is how to be as snug and warm as humanly possible! To kick this off I'm loving these cute and cosy mittens...

Topshop, £20

After practically wearing my H&M Isabel Marant suede and leather fringe boots to death, I feel I need to give them a well-earned break and attach myself to a new pair of boots....for the time being anyway! The new apple of my eye...

Iro Boots, £485

Winter has taken it's time rocking up for 2014, so I've done exactly the same in terms of picking my winter coat. So far I've made do with a Whistles number from last year, however I'm ready for an update and this Topshop long line bomber hits the spot! Sport luxe at it's best...

Topshop Bomber, £110

Anyone who has spent even a few minutes with me at Mouse Towers will know I'm one for comfort! My hair is instantly wound into a bun as I walk through the front door whilst simultaneously pulling on my cashmere track suit and removing every scrap of make up. What's missing...a super snug pair of slippers of course!!!

John Lewis Slippers, £55

If you hadn't guessed already, all three of us have a minor obsession with everything Charlotte Tilbury! Being the mouse with the lowest quota I think I need to up my game and make a few more purchases! I have my beady eyes on practically everything she has ever created so there isn't much that could disappoint!!!

Charlotte Tilbury 'Can't Live Without It' kit, £99

One item I'm definitely short of in my wardrobe is bracelets, since borrowing a few from Middle Mouse's treasure trove recently, I've decided I need to inject some arm candy into my life! Whilst perusing my favourite lunchtime haunt, &Other Stories, I came across this little beauty...

&Other Stories, £17

Ever since reading HK Mouse's post on the fabulous initial Burberry blanket wraps, I mentally added a Burbs Blank to my ever rolling wish list! However I'm thinking something more in my price range...cue ASOS! I'm loving this two tone colour block fringed number - perfect for both day and evening as a snugly cover up!

ASOS, £25

Something that will ALWAYS feature on my wish list has to be the ever so beautiful Valentino tote...I know, I know - I can keep on dreaming! Although surely one of FC's little elves can knock one of these bad boys up in his workshop?!

Valentino, £1,995

And last but not least, my knitwear obsession continues and doesn't show any signs of letting up! The piece I'm loving right now and haven't yet snapped up? A cute sleeveless turtle neck from Warehouse. Easy, comfy and the perfect layering staple...pair with skinnies, heels and a statement necklace and BAM office to bar sorted!

And that's all I want, not much to ask for really is it old Father Chrimbo?!

This Week The Mice Have Mostly Been...

Micettes - I have major news ... It's only frickin Friday again...

Let the champagne corks fly and the dream of weekend lie-ins commence - my two most favourite things!

So this week has been a bit of a balancing act - too much work to get through paired with too much social temptation ... so we did the only thing we could do and burnt the candle at both ends! We worked like billy-o by day and drank like billy-o by night. As always we also managed to make time for a spot of beauty maintenance and fashion purchasing. So without further ado, This Week The Mice Have Mostly Been...

Treating our talons to a touch of shellac sparkle! Some of you will know that we're shellac addicts through and through ... two whole weeks of non-chip, super shiny nails is enough to turn any girl riggggggght?! The Mice are super tight with the NYK1 team (see our full review of their shellac starter kit here) and we're lucky enough to be gifted new season colours every now and then - latest additions to our line-up include fire engine red and cutie-pie coral. This time round we were also treated to a set of 12 spangle glitter pots so we could put our nail art creative skills to the test and that we did! You’ll be happy to hear we didn’t go cra cra and embellish every nail, instead we selected each ring finger and dressed them up to the glitter nines! Subtle sparkle is definitely the way forward...

Giving into shoe-temptation and flexing our credit cards as far as they will go! Do you remember last week, we shared our latest shoe obsessions? See here if you missed it. Anyway, for HK mouse it was Sophia Webster's J Crew holiday shoe collection a
nd for me it was Valentino's Rockstud ankle bootsWell i'm happy to share the fairy shoemother AKA fairy MasterCard worked her magic and HK and middle mouse lived happily ever after...

Here's a snap of us both rocking our new found loves...

You know what they say...

Or is that just what we say?!!!

Regardless ... that's it for another week. Have a fantabulous weekend and...

Lots of Love

This Week The Mice Have Mostly Been...

First things first fellow Mice...

So what have we been up to this week? Bobo burger scoffing, trying London's new Mondrian for size and FINALLY checking out the much-hyped Gone Girl! Today's post however is mostly centred around shopping and beauty products ... you know when you have one of those weeks when ALL you can think about is spending money? Yep well this week was one of those! SO, I'm going to share my new purchases and latest shoe obsession with you all ... word of warning, hide your credit card now...

Majorly Crushing over these Valentino strutters...

Could they be anymore beautiful?! Textured leather ankle boots embellished with Valentino's signature rockstuds - smashed it! I feel slightly like i'm cheating on the original rockstud kicks which I am also completely head over heels for too...

Think I need to commit to both beauties, flex my Mastercard and treat my tootsies to some Valentino va va voom! Why not it's Fri-yay after all!

And while we're on the subject of a little shoe splurging...

Swooning over the brand new Sophia Webster x J Crew holiday shoe collection. Sophia at a snip? Yes please! Get in there fast though, the last collection was gone in the click of a heel and these beauties look like they'll be selling out doubly quick...

£460

£440

£510

Obsessively layering my lips with Dr. Jackson's Coconut Melt. Mini mouse bought me a pot of this moorishly addictive beauty balm for my birthday in September and i've been hooked ever since. And I'm in great company, celebs like Miranda Kerr and Emma Stone are raving about it too! It can be used for more than just lips ... in fact skin, cuticles and hair. It's super nourishing and hydrating and literally melts upon touch. Hands down the best lip treatment I've used in a while plus it tastes bloody amazing! I have more good news - it's just £10...

Getting soapy with L'Occtaine's Bonne Mere Rosemary shower gel. 'Rosemary soap???' you ask ... I hear you, it shouldn't work but it so so does! It's gorgeously fresh, zingy and has the ability to turn your usual two minute shower into an hour-long affair! Also available in lemon, peach and olive. £9 for 100ml

Right people, it's Friday and that means one thing ... Friday alcohol thing - whatever that means...!

Lots of weekend love,

The Mice

Top Of The Totes...

I'm starting to think we should be renamed the three little magpies...we love anything shiny and pretty and we're unstoppable when we see something we like! This goes for pretty much everything we lay our eyes on...clothes, shoes, bags, jewellery...you name it, one of us will be making a grab for it!

It doesn't help that we're mid-Fashion Week, where everywhere we turn there's another beautiful photograph uploaded just antagonising that inner fashion magpie!

I for one, have a rolling wish list on my iPhone of everything I want right now constantly adding bits and bobs I spy and believe me it's getting pretty lengthy and growing at a faster rate than my MasterCard can handle! Top of my list is a new tote - I'm sick of having to lug my life around on my forearm (life is so tough), so a tote is the perfect solution...I can chuck it on my shoulder and spread the weight a bit more!!

Seeing as it's such a practical solution, it needs to be super duper pretty and luckily, there are oh so many to pick from!

3BM's top picks (albeit a little extravagant budget wise!) are...

Go grunge chic with the Valentino Rockstud Trapeze Tote, £1465...

Go print crazy with a Liberty London Tote, £295...

Go fabulous with the YSL Cabas Tote, £1735...

Go fierce with a Sophie Hulme Leopard Tote, £745...

Go tassel-tastic with a Zara Leather Tote, £69.99...

Go super cool with the Issey Miyake Prism Tote, £680...

Go chic with a Smythson Large Tote, £795...

Go classics with a Balenciaga Papier A4 Tote, £1,085...

BUT which one to choose...ibble obble black bobble...!!!

What's in Middle Mouse's Suitcase...

Hong Kong mouse bought you her suitcase secrets a few weeks back so it's now time to uncover mine and Mini's in a two-part instalment! Starting with me...

Most would hold their hands up and say they HATE packing for a trip away. You're either the kind that leaves it til the very last minute, putting it off and off until there's just no avoiding it. This often means two things... 1. those handwash items that have been lingering at the bottom of your washing basket since the last holiday (often your best summer buys) are yet again, left behind weeping into the darkness and 2. you arrive at your tropical destination with a suitcase full of mismatched tops and bottoms and you spend the remainder of your holiday resembling that of a dishevelled TOWIE cast member! OR you're the other type that spends the days and even weeks in the run up painstakingly planning and pulling your holiday-fabulous looks and making constant lists to ensure you've covered off every possible holiday scenario that may arise!

I'm the painful planner type! I like to know I'm going to arrive and feel good about the outfits I have to choose from. You don't have the luxury of a wardrobe full of goodies so therefore as far s I'm concerned, careful forward thinking is a must.

So onto my can't-live-without-you travel companions...

Maxi dresses galore - from JosaMimiMangoTwenty8twelve to name a few!

After a scorcher of a day in the sun all I want to do is shower away the day's lotion layers and slip into a floaty, cool and most importantly, roomy maxi dress! As you know us Mice like our food and when we're on holiday we border on out of control piggyness (so not a word, but I like it!) So a spacious dress is a must!

NARS duo palettes (£25) - Indian Summer and Marie-Galante

Layer upon layer of make-up on holiday is not necessary. Your skin is bronzed and glowing, except maybe for the first few days when lobster red springs to mind and then a face full of foundation is most definitely imperative!! That aside, the only products I really use are a smidge of highlighter on my cheeks, a coating of mascara on my lashes and a touch of eyeshadow. There really is no need to bring anything more. In terms of holiday perfect products NARS hits the spot with their duo palettes. I always bring a light and a dark option to ensure all bases are covered...

NARS Body Glow (£44) - Body Glow

I'd always opt for oil over moisturiser, so much more nourishing and extravagant! And this NARS number is even more of a treat as it has that added extra sparkle - quite literally. A small amount goes a long way and you're left feeling silky smooth and shimmering!

Victoria's Secret bikinis (£40 each) - Colour popping, flattering and uber fun!

The best bikinis I've purchased for a long while. These beauties are ALWAYS at the top of my 'can't wait to wear' list. I always wait impatiently a couple of days into my holiday before rocking them as you need a bronzed edge before they look their best. Bikini strategy 101!

Raybans (£135) - the pink round mirrored reflective style

You can't go far wrong with a strong pair of Raybans now can you! I'm the proud owner of a few pairs now but the newest addition to the RB family are my absolute favs. Round. Mirrored. Pink. Gold trim. Immense!

& Other Stories sunhat (£16) - straw visor

If, like me, you're a sun worshipper but have that sweaty face issue, then a stylish sun visor is your saviour! No need to suffer in a New York Yankee or Tiger Wood's golfing style cap, & Other Stories have these chic straw versions, made even more fabulous with silk trims in black and floral...

Robert Pruitt for Jimmy Choo luggage tag

Every suitcase needs flair, even if it's just a red sticker on it's handle so you can identify it when it comes whirling around the airport carousel! That seems too sad though and not nearly special enough for your number one holiday companion - without your suitcase on holiday, where would you be huh? It's worth it and that's whyyyyyy I dress mine up with a fancy Jimmy Choo luggage tag, nothing but the best for my Susan Suitcase - yes I've lost my mind...!

Valentino clutch (£930) - the Rockstud wristlet clutch

Saving the best til last. My Valentino Rockstud clutch ... swoon! Ever girl needs a super cute clutch under her arm to accompany her every evening on holiday to carry casheroo, lipstick and a camera. Granted, most would opt for a cheap and cheerful Topshop version but not me, I can't leave this baby behind! Something this beautiful deserves to see the world with me...

And that's it! Eyes peeled for the contents of Mini Mouse's suitcase contents very, very soon...
