This Week The Mice Have Mostly Been...

Firstly...

Secondly what a busy week it's been...one Mouse has been nursing herself back to full health, another has been sunning herself champagne style in Cambodia...

And the other has been celebrating turning another year older...all depressing in one way or another but we made it through!!

When we haven't been drinking champagne and celebrating...the mice have mostly been...

Lusting after everything Finders Keepers...our new stop shop for the perfect wardrobe! We opened our eyes to the brand a few months ago whilst searching for wedding guest dress inspiration for a post back in June. Now we wonder how we managed to miss out for so long, with it's punchy colours, bold prints and fun carefree essence - it pretty much ticks all the boxes!

My favourite fashion style is all about over sized shapes, clean lines with dainty straps and low backs...and guess what? The super chic Aussies behind Finders Keepers do all that in an abundance!!

A small range is stocked on ASOS but you can get hold of the whole fabulous range here and if your order exceeds $250 AUD (£138) you'll get free international delivery. Sounds hefty but wait until you see what they do!

A few of our favs...

Dream On Jumpsuit, $159.95 AUD (£88.60)

Sleep Song Shorts, $99.95 AUD (£55.40)

Going loopy for the new craze Loom Bands...well if it's good enough for Becks and Kate it's surely good enough for us!!!

It started as a playground fad with every cool kid embracing the pastel plastic bands but since Kate rocked one on the royal tour it seems to have become a fully fledged fashion statement!

Friendships bracelets made cool - the nine year me would have been jumping for joy...oh the hours us mice spent trying to sell our homemade bracelets to poor friends and family! Who would have thought the Beckham's and Camilla PB could have been potential customers?!

Right we're ready to take a long earned break for the weekend...but enjoy and make sure you take a moment to appreciate it as much as this little lady...

Best Dressed Wedding Guest...

If, like us, you're not feeling overly inspired by the summer fashion spread the high street is putting on right now, fear not it's not all doom and gloom.

We're in total agreement that it's not looking too inspirational at the regular hot spots - Zara is usually our fail saf
e option but otherwise after some rooting around we usually find H&M or Topshop hiding a few gems. Right now though, no one is ticking the boxes!!

This became glaringly apparent while searching for the perfect wardrobe for my Italian getaway and, most importantly, while on the hunt for a summer wedding outfit. I hate the thought of arriving in the same dress as someone else and so usually try to avoid the wedding favourites, Coast and Reiss, and instead, I'm always on the look out for something a little bit unusual.

I wanted something chic yet fashionable, summery but not too revealing and fun without being OTT! Challenge set, I went on the hunt....

I eventually found the one in the designer section of urban outfitters and as it was on the last chance rail, I took the gamble that nobody else at the wedding would have it! Thankfully I was safe, and all that scouting was worth it...

After such dramas, I think it's only fair to share the other wedding wear discoveries that I made along the way, especially in times of such limited inspiration!
