Jimmy Choo and Caroline Issa Blogger Preview…

Let me start off by saying …. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh JIMMY CHOO! How very fabulously exciting to be invited along to the bloggers' preview of Choo24:7 Stylemakers. If you're an avid 3BM supporter you will have no doubt seen us tweeting away yesterday at the launch but if not check out the fun we had below!

8:15 beep beep beep
Now I must admit every week day morning my alarm goes off at 6.45am sharp followed by … noooooooooooo whhhhhhhhhy when is it time to retire and never wake up early again! Well not today! I'm up like a shot and wide awake even before mini mouse had opened her tired mouse eyes which NEVER happens! This is what shoes do to me!

8:30 I don't have anything to wear!
Now for deciding what to wear. You just know that everyone there is going to have Twiglet legs, the perfect pout and outfits to rival Olivia Palermo. After much deliberation I opt for a cobalt and white floral elliptical hemmed Topshop dress - wow that was a mouthful! Alice goes for skinny jeans, a cashmere vest and a sugar pink jacket. Good to go!

10:00 The Arts Club
We arrive dot on time, are whisked through the sign-in process and head straight up the lavish sweeping staircase to shoe heaven. There before our eyes are rows and rows of the most beautiful Choos - I'm blinded by their beauty or is it the hundreds and thousands of jewels and glittering pieces adorning the works of art?! We are quickly offered a glass of the most delicious apple juice, the waiter informs me it's fresh from the tree! From this moment on the hustle and bustle of London life is a mere memory, the only thing that matters now is shoes, shoes, shoes.

10:15 The facts for fashionistas
After doing what seems like 100 laps of the Choo lounge, my shoe bubble is burst by the 'ting ting ting' of a glass being tapped. The culprit is Hannah Colman, President of Europe and E-commerce for Jimmy Choo. I think every girl in the room at this moment in time wants to kick off their Topshop zip boots (you know the ones that everyone seems to have) and step into Hannah's Choos for evermore - what a job!  Hannah starts the presentation with an overview of Jimmy Choo 24:7 which is the perfect capsule collection to take you through your daily paces and make sure you're ready for every eventuality. The range basically offers you the opportunity to wear Choo 24:7 … fine by me, I just need to win the lottery now so I can snap the whole lot up! She then goes on to talk about the new interactive website being launched to support the range, Choo 24:7 Stylemakers.

So onto how it works - from today we Jimmy Choo fans can upload street style shots onto the Choo 24:7 site from personal photo galleries including Facebook and instagram. Jimmy Choo wanted to create a community for people, making it possible for them to share their own personal sense of style and be inspired by others. In doing so, the brand will be able to create a global reportage of styles from cities all over the world - pretty cool huh! Get involved! Not only is this a really quirky idea but the person who uploads the best Jimmy Choo street style photograph will win a complete Jimmy Choo wardrobe *scrambles for camera and is out of the door like a flash*

AND that's not all. To kick off the programme, Jimmy Choo has collaborated with renowned street style photographer, Eddie Newton who is best known for his blog, Mrnewton.net. Eddie had the delight of working with Tank Magazine's Executive Fashion Director, Caroline Issa for his first street style. Under the lens of Eddie, Caroline was given the brief to showcase her unique sense of style across seven different looks. Jimmy Choo will be continuing this programme and will be introducing new headline stylists for every city so keep your eyes peeled. The next stop is New York. Check out the behind the scenes film with Caroline Issa and Eddie Newton below that I captured on my trusty HTC…

10:30 Which Choo is me?
Now for my Jimmy Choo shoe bar experience. So it's simple … select your favourite pair of Choos, step into them and hop into the photo booth area. It sounds easy doesn't it but myself and mini mouse spend about half an hour umming and ahhing over which styles suit us best and co-ordinate with our carefully selected outfits! Once decided we opt to have our picture taken together as a little memento of our shoetastic morning. Check out our polaroid keepsake below…

10:45 Goody bag time!
I'm normally the one giving out goody bags at PR events so it's amazeballs to actually be the receiver for once AND it's SO worth the wait. The perfect mix of naughty and nice. A Primrose Bakery Choo247 cupcake and a gorgeous Jimmy Choo scarf all tied up in a pastel pink Choo bag! Heaven!

Last words, huge thanks to the lovely Lucy for inviting us along. We had a FabCHOOlous time!
