Heiress v. Penniless: Hèrmes H Bracelet

Hèrmes is a brand that globally represents style, wealth and chic all at once...I would give my right arm, leg or pinky finger to own something with the beautiful H initial (preferably my baby finger but I do love to wear a pinky ring...!). I admire a brand which doesn't need to plaster itself all over the media to get attention and Hèrmes have mastered this by building highly desirable, timelessly elegant collections season after season which portray the true meaning of fashion. The fact that the waiting list for a Birkin for us mere mortals is still in the region of years, speaks volumes of the fashion power of the brand. However it does make me shed a tear that I would need to sell my flat in order to even join the list!

Being the jewellery junkie that I am, I have a lifetime crush on the enamel H bangle...I love the combination of the vibrant colours (especially the orange) paired with the rich gold edging and my favourite detail, the 'H' clasp! Pure perfection! However at $610 a pop some serious saving or ebaying or begging would need to commence for me to get my hands on one...

OK I have stop now...I can take NO more! So my penniless friends, maybe Hèrmes is slightly out of our price range for now, however that doesn't mean we can't own a chic piece of enamel arm candy! I have hunted out the hottest of the high street to mid range options, all channelling that Hèrmes style....check out these babies...
