Midweek Music Treat - Graffiti6...

I love nothing more than sticking my iPod on shuffle and randomly having a forgotten favourite song pop up. Whether I'm sat at my desk plodding through Excel spreadsheets on a rainy Wednesday or wedged under someone's armpit on my sweaty commute, I instantly zone out and drift off to that feel good place with a big smile on my face!! I used to listen to Radio 1 everyday at work but got so bored with the same chart music being played on repeat...Rihanna, Adele, Justin Beiber, Jessie J...zzzz! These days the only way is my iPod, something to perk up the work day when I'm not running around from meeting to meeting...

I currently have HUGE holiday blues so yesterday while I was wading through mountains of emails I plugged myself into my trusty little Apple friend and pressed the shuffle button. Suddenly I was feeling much, much happier as one of my all time favourite bands drifted through my headphones...

About two years ago a friend asked me to a gig at Vibe Bar on Brick Lane. Vibe's in very close proximity to my flat and I'm always up for a bit of midweek music action, so I thought why not...! Little did I know that Graffiti6, the band we were going to see, would become an instant iPod favourite and that two years on they'd be cheering up a dreary post-holiday Tuesday.

Graffiti6 is fronted by lead singer, Jamie Scott, who not only has an amazing voice but is also ridiculously hot! The music is fun, sunny and massively catchy - guaranteed to put you in an upbeat, happy mood.

Since that gig, Graffiti6 have been on a worldwide tour and I've been patiently waiting for them to come back to London. Now, after 150 shows all around the globe, they're backkkkk...! So, get you permanent pen out to mark a very important date in your diaries - Graffiti6 will be playing live on 11th September at Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen. To pre-order your tickets head over to Ticketmaster immediately...

If you don't think you've heard of Grafitti6 before, you might actually already know one of their songs, 'Stare into the Sun' as it featured in The Sun (newspaper) TV ad campaign....

And now I'm on a roll, I thought I'd bring you some others (a little obsessed!) including some acoustic performances to show you how incredible they are (and just how hot Jamie is...)....

See you on 11th September at Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen...
