Three Bad Mice: website

The magazine stands are stuffed with weighty September Issues, Fashion Month is fast approaching and we're gleefully eyeing up all the gorgeous autumn pieces that have just dropped at all our high street favs. We're still hoping for at least a glimmer more of summer but in the meantime its vital to get our winter wardrobes stocked before all the best pieces sell out (or at least that's how we're justifying the large dent in this month's pay cheque...).

That being said, we've always been big believers in the more savvy way to get a new season wardrobe refresh - step up the accessories update... Take a few trusty staples - let's say a little black dress, the perfect pair of skinny jeans, a few basic t-shirts and a well cut blazer - and with a sprinkling of the right accessories you can look bang up to date for less than the price of the zip of that lickable orange Balenciaga leather jacket on the cover of British Vogue...

We've always found Zara and ASOS great sources to hit up for a little accessories lift, but we've recently come across a gem of a website for all you Asia-based fashionistas looking for a touch of purse friendly accessorising, Zalora. This haven of e-bargains has until now been unchartered Mice shopping territory. Let's just say we sorted that out pretty quickly...

After April snow showers in London, and the coldest May Day in Hong Kong since 1917, we'd seriously begun to lose all hope of ever seeing summer again. Thankfully though, the last couple of weeks in both London and Hong Kong, have finally yielded some tantalising glimpses of sunshine. While it may be a little gloomy and grey today, we're optimistically dreaming of blue skies, beach days and long, frosty glasses of spiked lemonade...

Of course in these daydreams, we're our perfect summer selves. We're tanned and toned, with perfectly imperfect, tousled, sun-kissed hair. We're wearing minimal make-up because we're bronzed and well-rested after a week somewhere exotic with the prospect of another week somewhere even more exotic before too long. And of course we're draped in something boho-luxe that we just threw on over our bikinis accessorized with a jangle of bangles and bare feet.

In fact we're pretty much Brigitte Bardot, Talitha Getty and Elizabeth Taylor...
