Top Of The Totes...

I'm starting to think we should be renamed the three little magpies...we love anything shiny and pretty and we're unstoppable when we see something we like! This goes for pretty much everything we lay our eyes on...clothes, shoes, bags, jewellery...you name it, one of us will be making a grab for it!

It doesn't help that we're mid-Fashion Week, where everywhere we turn there's another beautiful photograph uploaded just antagonising that inner fashion magpie!

I for one, have a rolling wish list on my iPhone of everything I want right now constantly adding bits and bobs I spy and believe me it's getting pretty lengthy and growing at a faster rate than my MasterCard can handle! Top of my list is a new tote - I'm sick of having to lug my life around on my forearm (life is so tough), so a tote is the perfect solution...I can chuck it on my shoulder and spread the weight a bit more!!

Seeing as it's such a practical solution, it needs to be super duper pretty and luckily, there are oh so many to pick from!

3BM's top picks (albeit a little extravagant budget wise!) are...

Go grunge chic with the Valentino Rockstud Trapeze Tote, £1465...

Go print crazy with a Liberty London Tote, £295...

Go fabulous with the YSL Cabas Tote, £1735...

Go fierce with a Sophie Hulme Leopard Tote, £745...

Go tassel-tastic with a Zara Leather Tote, £69.99...

Go super cool with the Issey Miyake Prism Tote, £680...

Go chic with a Smythson Large Tote, £795...

Go classics with a Balenciaga Papier A4 Tote, £1,085...

BUT which one to choose...ibble obble black bobble...!!!

All Work & No Play...

... calls for a very pretty desk!

This week I finally move into my brand new flat so I'm a little obsessed with all things home decor. The new flat has space for a desk, so for the first time ever I'll have my very own little office area where I can happily blog away in peace and quiet. With a whole new room to furnish I've spent hours on the ever amazing Pinterest gathering a bit of dream office inspo...

Love Lust List...

February 14th is very nearly here again. Love it or hate it, get used to it because it ain't going away!

Why is it that we seem to feel compelled to recognise this calendar date in one way or another? It's just like any other day except for one thing - it has this love stigma attached to it... which forces people into making alliances with one of two camps...

Meet the Smug Sunshiners...

This camp is packed to the rafters with smiley, shiny, loved-up types! They have managed to bag themselves a sweetheart and they aren't afraid to celebrate the fact.

Cue the Sorry Singletons...

The dreary glum crowd who dread the stock Valentine's Day exchange, 'any love interests on the horizon? No? Don't worry it will happen when you least expect it. Be patient'

Regardless of which gang you fall into, my advice to EVERYONE this Valentine's Day is to celebrate by indulging yourself. I certainly intend to, now I just need to decide on which of the following deserves a place in my heart...

This little red Smythson book of love letters by famous authors?

HK Mouse's Christmas Wish List

It is now officially one week until the night before Christmas.

JUST ONE WEEK!!!

But although we've blogged pretty extensively about anything even vaguely festive, unlike everyone else in the blogosphere, we haven't put together any sort of gift guide yet...

As we gallop towards the big day with shopping opportunities fast dwindling, I'm desperately trying to cram in all my shopping, wrapping and (Oh My God, I really don't want to think about it...) packing... Just the thought of trying to stuff two weeks worth of cosy outfits, a multitude of presents and all the other random stuff I'll need for fourteen days at home is enough to bring me out in a cold sweat. So, in a bid to avoid the inevitable I thought I'd compile a list of all the lovely things that I've been eyeing up for myself while I've been Christmas shopping. Hopefully I may be able to provide some last minute inspiration for anyone still struggling with tricky loved ones, and if Father Christmas is a 3BM fan, then maybe just maybe he'll have the chance to snap me up one of these pretty, sparkly things and totally make my Christmas....

If my house were ablaze, I would save...

  • Mini mouse is top of my 'save from the blaze' list - if she wasn't I think she might set me on fire!

  • My highly prized collection of shoesssss! Simply hearing the brands Christian Louboutin, Miu Miu and Charlotte Olympia set me ablaze! For those of you that don't know by now, I am totally and utterly obsessed with beautiful stilettos. The below quote explains why mini and biggy mice are often mean to me ... they're just after my shoes:

'Cinderella's stepsisters were not desperate for Prince Charming - they
were desperate for her glass slipper.'

  • My Smythson little black book of all the bars, restaurants and pubs I adore in London. I have lovingly built up this alcoholic bible over the past few years and feel like a part of me is missing if I ever leave in behind!

  • Letters from my mum that I hold very close to my heart

  • My vast collection of coffee table books. I have selected my favourite - David LaChapelle's 'Heaven to Hell' which is packed full to the brim of the most imaginative, vivid and provocative photography around. Every time I flick through this masterpiece I see something new and exciting - just gets better and better...

  • My HTC phones - one for work and one for play!

  • My Apple MacBook Air - the window to my being. This baby holds every photo I have ever taken - that reminds me I should really back-up. You would have thought the SATC episode where Carrie's Mac crashed and she 'got the bomb' would have taught me a thing or two ... sadly not!

  • My grandpa's vintage Kodak Retinette - a classic camera produced in 1958. I love thinking about the places/sights that it has been and seen.
