In a nutshell, the new breed of eyewear offers a very simple concept. You can either snap up frames, clear or shaded, at £20 a pop OR test their BYOP (bring-your-own-prescription) service for an affordable and stylish cost of £40+ with a 60-minute turnaround attached. Ridiculously cheap and furiously fast I know! ToyShades mission is to create 'fashion-driven eyewear design at prices set to revolutionise the industry' - punchy ... we likey! 

My good pal Chrissie actually filled me in on this magical brand and last week we trotted to Topshop one lunch to bag herself a pair. The service was fantastic from start to finish. Firstly, the guy manning the ToyShades stand couldn't have been more helpful and we were in and out like a flash having selected a frame and handed over prescription digits. A few days later we picked up the fast frames and Chrissie is now rocking them as I type in Barcelona. We love happily ever after stories!
