Anya Hindmarch : The Art of Storytelling...

Everyone loves a good story don't they? Why is it that something seems so much more appealing if you understand the tale behind it? Well clever Anya Hindmarch has cottoned onto this ahead of the busiest gifting period and has emerged as the J.K.Rowling of the fashion world with her latest 'All I've Ever Wanted' collection.

The all singing all dancing super duper spangly range represents exactly what's going on in Anya's head. That paired with two Christmas childhood memories I think we can all hark back to ... firstly, Quality Street, remember the excitement of being given a box by an ancient family relative and your eyes glazing over at the sight of all those wonderful rainbow metallic coloured wrappers? Secondly, that special moment each year when you would be taken to see your favourite toy shop window all dressed up, packed full of promises and ready to make lots of little people's dreams come true! Well Anya wanted to capture these magical feelings and inject them into the 'All I've Ever Wanted' range, and that she certainly did...

Each designer piece comes packed up in a toy box boasting beautifully nostalgic packaging ... pastel colours, playful fonts and simple graphics. My many Barbies used to come in boxes just like the one above!

Before I introduce you to the very fabulous collection, which you'll instantly fall in love with by the way, I thought I'd share the below teaser showing you the inside of Anya's weird and wonderful factory of dreams...

Anyway, enough of that, time for the good stuff ... the products!

Yes this bag really does light up! Its smattering of glitter and tiny LED lights will have you looking like a fashion-forward Christmas tree fairy in no time...

The Marano Dancer, £495

If the 'jazz hands' light-up evening bag wasn't out there enough for you, why not opt for the snow globe version! Seriously though if this wasn't Anya Hindmarch there is no fricking way anyone would buy this but stamp that iconic bow on the bag and people go stir crazy...

Leave your iPod at home when you're armed with the following - all you have to do it wind up the clutch and 'Deck The Halls' will play out loud and proud...

The Marano Music Box, £595

Well the following super cute metallic line needs no explanation, each and every coin purse inspired by those little Quality Street drops of heaven. Sadly these little gems aren't coated with chocolate and don't have a scrumptious centre, but we still think they're pretty delicious...
