It seems like we currently have a bit of a thing for bands from LA. Last weekend we posted about Californian fivesome, Milo Greene, this week it's LA-based duo, Electric Guest. Maybe its the sun, maybe its being surrounded by ridiculously good-looking waitresses/actresses and barmen/models but there's definitely something very summery and bright about Electric Guest. A fusion of retro 60s/70s pop, mellow guitar and a dash of electronica, each track is completely different. We're particularly loving the insanely catchy This Head I Hold - a little bit Plan B, a bit Gnarles Barkley, and guaranteed to have you dancing at your desk...
The band released their debut album in April and are currently touring the US and Australia. We like them. A lot.
